Successful Homecoming Donation & Symposium Held for Alumni of Mold Class 9911

 

On May 10, alumni representatives of Mold Class 9911 returned to their alma mater to hold donation and exchange symposium activities.

 

At the scene, they unveiled the donated landscape stone engraved with the motto "Foster Virtue and Cultivate Talents". Liu Kai, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and head teacher of Mold Class 9911, presented donation certificates to the alumni representatives.

 

After the donation ceremony, the college held an alumni forum in Meeting Room 5302, Dongba Campus.

 

Liu Kai, Vice President Yang Huaming, head teacher of Mold Class 9911, and and former teacher of the class, attended the event. Also present were heads of relevant functional departments, faculty representatives, alumni representatives and student representatives of Grade 2024 Mold Major. The forum was presided over by Lyu Qiang, Party Committee Member and Vice President.

 

 

At the meeting, Liu Kai, on behalf of the college, extended a warm welcome to the alumni representatives, expressed sincere gratitude for their donations, and congratulated them heartily on their outstanding achievements after graduation. He noted that the college will uphold the fundamental mission of fostering virtue and cultivating talents, carry forward fine educational traditions, improve talent training quality, and strive to build a better college.

 

Lyu Qiang reported to the alumni on the college’s development and school-running achievements. Teachers of Mold Class 9911 looked back on past teaching days and encouraged young students to cherish time and strive for progress.

 

Alumni representatives shared their campus life and career experiences, expressed gratitude to teachers and recalled fond campus memories, and offered advice to current students based on their work experience.

 

Zheng Xinlei, a student from the 2024 Mold Major cohort, spoke on behalf of current students. He vowed to learn from outstanding alumni, study diligently, aim high for personal growth, uphold good academic ethos, pursue dreams with craftsmanship, and serve the country with professional skills.

 

During the event, alumni representatives toured the campus and practical training bases in person, experiencing the tremendous changes of their alma mater. They also recorded anniversary greeting videos to send sincere wishes to the college.This activity strengthened the profound friendship between alumni and the alma mater, and fully reflected alumni's sense of responsibility to give back to their alma mater.
